SERVICES

The Broken Spoke offers high quality service and repair on all bikes. We service bikes on a first come, first serve basis, and complete most repairs within 24-48 hours. After your repair is complete, a mechanic will test ride and safety check your bike. If you’re unsure of what you need, we’ll thoroughly evaluate your bike and talk you through your options. Estimates are free of charge.

In addition to the following jobs, a-la-carte service is available as needed. All service jobs do not include the cost of replacement parts.

Minor Tune-Up

  • Adjust shifting, brakes, hubs, and headset

  • Lube all moving parts

  • Wipe bike clean 

Major Tune-Up 

  • Everything in Minor Tune up (above)

  • True wheels 

  • Remove, clean, and reinstall chain, crank, derailleurs, and cassette

Complete Overhaul

  • Strip all parts from frame, clean, and reassemble

 

Specialty Maintenance and Service

Suspension

We offer front and rear suspension service for all major suspension brands. Services offered are:
 

  • Basic seal replacements

  • Damper overhaul

  • Custom tuning

Wheel Building

  • We provide custom, in-house wheel building using Phil Wood spokes.

  • Spokes are custom cut to the specifications of the selected parts.

  • All major spoke, hub, and rim brands are available upon request.

Electric Bikes

The Broken Spoke is certified to service Bosch, Fazua, Hyena, TQ and Shimano electric bikes.
We are happy to service all other types of electric bikes, and have experience servicing a wide variety of systems.
